Thanks for reading.
If you have ever tested your games/apps on a real iPhone, could you please tell me the major difference?
Thanks. [import]uid: 12769 topic_id: 7798 reply_id: 307798[/import]

There are some bugs with placement of text. That is, text objects are positioned differently on device and in the simulator.
The biggest differences though are in external services like OpenFeint and Facebook. Basically, you can’t use that stuff in the simulator. [import]uid: 12108 topic_id: 7798 reply_id: 27650[/import]
Thanks for your reply.
This info is very useful, so I guess I will not use the primitive text, but I may use art text made from combination of text images. Thanks. [import]uid: 12769 topic_id: 7798 reply_id: 27904[/import]
Just to be clear; you know it’s VERY important to test on a device before trying to submit to Apple, right?
The simulator is fantastic but you still need to test it properly. [import]uid: 10144 topic_id: 7798 reply_id: 27937[/import]
Thanks very much. I will keep it in mind.
I don’t have an iPhone or iPod Touch yet. I am just making a bet on that the game will work when I test it on a real device in later stage. I wish Corona SDK wouldn’t have many bugs on the real device!

When your game is totally finished don’t submit it without testing. Instead, ask a friend with an iPhone or iPod touch if you can use their device, or start a thread here asking for help.
If you talk to a friend here they could test your game for you on their device and make sure it doesn’t crash - so it’s not all bad news

And, if I may add, try to test your app non different devices. At least if you are not planning an iPhone4-only software. Performance-wise, older iPhone 3G and iPod touch can give you different (and surprising) results.
Enjoy coding
