Dino Dodger submitted to App Store

Hello everyone,

Dino Dodger, my first Corona game (and first iPhone game period) has finally been submitted to the App Store. In Dino Dodger you tilt to control your character as you drive your way through an onslaught of dinosaurs. Collect as many eggs as possible while dodging all the Dino’s.

Here are a few screenshots from the game:

I really wanted to have a video posted of the game play to show you all but could not find a way to successfully do that without having the game look choppy. I did not want to post any of those as they did not accurately portray the game.

Anyway, hopefully the game will not take too long to get approved. I will update when it is live in the store. You can also follow us at the following places:

Yep! There are a couple special objects in the game, one being the Dino dung, which won’t take a life away but it will smear on your windshield and obstruct your vision temporarily.

Another is a golden egg which gives you the plow pictured in the last screenshot. This will temporarily make you invincible and allow you to plow through the Dino’s and earn points for hitting them too.

That’s awesome. I love the idea. I wanted to do a game similar to that! Where you had to drive and manuever around things. Is there any way you could tell me how you learned all of that or any tutorials? Any help would be appreciated. The game looks great. Definitely will buy. Well I must say the forums were my best source of help. This is my first game with Corona and my first iphone app in general so I was learning everything for the first time. I can’t say enough great things about the people in these forums, and the people at ansca for that matter! I wouldn’t have been able to complete the game without them!

If you wanted to know anything specific maybe you could email me through my website or something and I could get some simple tutorials done.

It definitely just took a lot of patience and hours upon hours searching through the forums and the api resources to find everything I needed.

Well I just got an email from Apple saying that my app has been approved!

Although I think it may take a little bit to show up in the app store because when I search for it nothing comes up but you can find it through itunes at

I think I will make another forum post with promo codes once I figure out how to get promo codes lol
