Director Crash..switched scenes but crash due to previous scene...

I have a game when once finished it switches scenes to a summary screen, this works ok but then sometimes I get a crash related to the precious scene…

The scene switches then in the print window Im still getting outputs as if the previous scene is still running, but crashing due to objects or event listeners being removed?

I have cancelled all timers and set local group to nil etc…how do you stop the previous scene from running before the cleanup then scene change?

Any help?
