display.capture() problem with semi-transparent vectors?

Has anyone else had this problem?

  • Create a display group.
  • Large bitmap image in background of the group…
  • Inside the group, place several vector shapes over top of background image, some of them have alpha set to less than 1.0
  • run display.capture() on the group…
  • place the new screenshot visible on screen
  • the result has the semi-transparent vector darker, or muted color.

This is with antialias=false in config.lua. If antialias=true, it’s even worse - the vectors disappear entirely in the new

thanks!

Have not encountered it personally although rarely use display.capture; what build is this in? Happy to chase it up and see if it’s an issue or if it’s expected for some reason or another when using display.capture() [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 30204 reply_id: 120956[/import]

Thanks Peach! This is in the latest stable build - 840… [import]uid: 131038 topic_id: 30204 reply_id: 120957[/import]

Hrm - I’m going to ask someone about this and one of us will get back to you.

(PS - I did see your email earlier but at this rate wont get to read it until Monday, so my apologies in advance on the delayed reply - this week has been just a tad hellish ;-)) [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 30204 reply_id: 121112[/import]

I encountered the same problem.
