Display water effect

Hi,

I would like to use Corona to display a map with some water effect applied to it.

Actually the idea is simple, I have three layer and a top view. One layer is the background. Over it, I display somekind of transparency. And finaly, I display images which are my top view (sky view) boat.

I need to manipulate pixel to simulate water. I need something like this :

Any hints ?

I’m not sure if it’s what you’re looking for, but Particle Candy can create a water effect.
