Distribution Profile Question

Instead of using the distribution method App Store, I used the profile with distribution method Ad Hoc when building my app, and submitted to the app store.

I couldn’t find much information about this, and I was wondering if the app will be rejected, or if it will approved will it only be available to the device ids I selected for the profile?

The app is waiting for review for 6 days, and I just realized the mistake today and don’t know if to wait for review or to submit another correct build?

They say that the only difference between the appstore and adhoc is that on adhoc there’s an extra list of device ids that can install the app adhoc, and not only through apple store.
