do i have to register as a developer to be a part of a team?

I have a question about the following question/answer on iOS Account Management:

How do I add members to my Mac, iOS, or Safari development team?

If you are enrolled in the Mac, iOS, or Safari Developer Program as a Company you can invite co-workers to join your team. Developers who have either the Agent or Admin role can invite co-workers to their development team from the Member Center under the People tab. Members of your development team can access all the technical resources and benefits that are included with the Developer Program(s) you are enrolled in.

Here’s my situation: I’ve downloaded the Corona SDK, but I’m not a subscriber and I’m not a registered Apple developer. I’m helping a friend develop an app, but she will be the one to subscribe with Corona and register with Apple to publish under her name.

If she wants to add me to her development team so I can do builds and test on a machine, do I need to register as a developer myself?

And for that matter, would I need to have my own Corona subscription? [import]uid: 74629 topic_id: 14350 reply_id: 314350[/import]

You don’t need to be registered as a developer to have her add you as a member of the team, no.

If you want to build and test on your own machine then no, you don’t need to upgrade to a paid Corona membership - but you will get a pop up when you load your app reminding you it’s just a trial account.
