Title says it all.
I was just wondering because I heard that you have to have a Mac to make iPhone apps
You need a Mac to compile iPhone games, but as you can easily run the simulator on a PC and use an iPhone skin, Corona will look the same in the sim.
Actually building the final binary for iOS or macOS devices will require access to macOS and for that you can just use MacInCloud or a similar cloud Mac service. I believe prices start at figures like $10 a month, but I’ve never used one. Take a look, they are usually very good deals and I know of a few devs who have gone that route and been happy.
I am just stealing a quote from the FAQs
“Can I iOS app on a windows machine?”
Unfortunately no. Due to Apple restrictions you can only build an iOS or OS X app on a Mac. However, any code you develop with Corona on a Windows machine can be taken to a Mac and used to build your app. If you are unable to buy a Mac, we recommend using a service like MacinCloud (www.macincloud.com) to build your iOS apps.
You may just use vmware on windows machine and have OS X installed as virtual machine image.
