Do we have to use the Admob plugin to display Admob ads?

Is the paid plugin a simple way to implement Admob ads or is it the ONLY way?

You can use Appodeal too. It’s a mediation plugin that maps to your AdMob account. However, you have to have significant daily usage for ad mediation to really kick in (like 10,000 ads/impressions per day) for it to make sense.

Beyond that, the paid AdMob plugin is the only way to get AdMob ads unless you want to use native builds and build your own plugin/integration (you have to use Xcode to build everytime you want to test). If you put a value on your time creating and maintaining your own AdMob implementation, $200 year for us to keep it up to date and to allow you to do simulator builds our plugin is quite the bargain.

Ok thanks that’s what I wanted to know. Although it’s quite ironic that that means that paid apps would be the cheapest to create since you’d only have to pay for the splash screen. Anyway yeah it can be a good deal you’re right.
