Do you develop on PC or Mac? and a few questions about transitioning b/w them

I’ve been a Windows guy most of my life but I picked up a Mac Mini a little over a year ago for app development. I’m starting college in August and I’ll more than likely be using an M14x as my main computer. I know you can’t upload your app for review from a PC (I’ll have my mac mini with me for that), but are there any other major differences between developing on a PC vs a Mac?

Also, I’m not a subscriber yet and wanted to make sure when I do buy a subscription I’ll be able to develop on the PC but publish on the Mac without having to buy a second subscription.

Finally, what do you use for development? [import]uid: 151050 topic_id: 28303 reply_id: 328303[/import]

Sometimes little discrepancies come up but largely it is the same. (Some error messages are different, on Mac you can test text input fields while you cannot yet do this on PC, etc.)

If you have a PC and Mac and a Pro license you will be able to run the SDK on both computers and publish for Android (on Mac or PC) and iOS (from the Mac). Occasionally a newly upgraded user reports an issue trying to authorize on 2 machines at once, if this happens just submit a support form and we’ll sort you out. (Just a heads up ;))

Lastly, I develop primarily on a 27" iMac. I use an 11" souped up Macbook Air when I travel and I use a Macbook Pro 15" when the need arises to do anything on Snow Leopard, although that is rare
