Does anyone know how to set-up Ponytiled for Tiled?

I am trying to set-up ponytiled for Tiled Map Editor and I don’t know how to do that.
If you know, please tell me how and what you did to get it set-up

Have your checked out the “ponytiled” github by @ponywolf?

It has fairly comprehensive documentation and examples.

Disclaimer: I have not have a chance to use it yet.

I have checked it out, but I don’t really understand it so I was hoping that someone would know how to better explain it to me

I’m in the same boat – while there is some documentation, it assumes you know stuff it doesn’t explain (or, if it does, I can’t find it).

If you’re still interested in getting PonyTiled up and running I’d be happy to share what I discover with you.

If you haven’t seen these videos, they’re a good place to start:



Be aware that the videos are several years old and so the version of Tiled shown doesn’t match with what you download now.

Let me know if you’re still interested and maybe we can share where we each are and what would be a good next step.

Yeah. I need to make some new videos for sure.

Sticker Knight is also a good base to start playing around with. I updated it so it uses the latest version of tiled…
