does corona have BroadcastReceiver support?

I can do this in Android but im not sure if it’s possible with corona.

Basically i have an app built with the Android SDK and I want that app to be able to broadcast an intent that a corona based app with then receive . In this case I want to be able to start a corona sdk app from within an android app.
