Does Corona Support 5.1 surround sound?

And if so how does one direct a specific sound to the rear speakers?

Hi Arthur,

Corona doesn’t support 5.1 at this time, but perhaps it could be done using Enterprise.

I went to a Conference where the people from Dolby said that would be working on a plugin to Corona that would enable surround and other cool effects, but nobody knows when it will be released…

We have added no new sound features in recent times.

Dolby has a plugin to improve sound quality and uses these surround emulated features. Unfortunately, they don’t have a plugin for Corona yet.

I met the guy responsible for the plugin 3 months ago and he said they were working on a Marmalade plugin and then would develop a Corona plugin.

I see that they just released a Marmalade plugin, so, maybe a Corona plugin may appear in the next months.
