Thinking of upgrading to ios 10 beta does corona sdk work with ios 10?
We currently do not have the iOS 10 beta as a build option in Corona SDK. But iOS 9 built apps will run on iOS 10. I would not update to Xcode 8 yet. We want to let the public release settle down a bit and after that ( perhaps in a week or two ) we will add the iOS 10 SDK beta as a target you can build against in addition to the the 9.3 release version.
If you’re planning on releasing any new apps or updating them, remember you can’t do that with beta software, so plan to stay with Xcode 7.3 for a while unless you want to have 7.3 and 8.0 beta running at the same time.
What you run on your device doesn’t effect what you run to build and deploy apps with. Updating a device should be safe.
