Does Corona Support Rich Push Notifications

Hi,

 

We are planning to develop an application for iOS/ Android platforms using corona. The app needs support for rich push notifications.

We want to set this up using urban airship. so, want to know if corona supports these rich push notifications using urban airship. I searched a lot in net about this but could not find any helpful info.

What do you mean by rich push notifications?  We accept a table of information called “custom” and pass that on to your app and I suspect whatever UA is going to put in there would make it to your app.

By rich push notifications, I mean pushing imags, audio, video and html to my app.

Like the way it was implemented for ‘The Lorax’ app.

Hi,

If I can jump in, this type of functionality is planned to roll into the Corona Cloud solution.

At launch we will provide a basic subset with more advanced features following soon after.
