I have a really good idea for a game so I’m doing a lot of research to create it. All thats holding me back is i don’t have any animations. I was wondering where everyone got theres.
There are some sources of free art to be found on the Internet. Some people do their own. And others work with artists to create the needed art work.

I appreciate the reply.
If you want a consistent style you really need to work with a professional artist. Otherwise your game will most likely look piecemeal and thrown together.
Me, I just did my own artwork!
Cheers,
Kenny
I hired an ex-disney animator. Turns out that 2d animation is in LOW demand from major studios (game and film) meaning there are a lot of talented out-of-work 2d artists available in the US and abroad.
I have no graphic design skills, so I always have to look elsewhere for graphics.
I’ve bought some cheap artwork from places like this: http://www.graphic-buffet.com
It a good way to get started with a small investment, but I find that it does limit my options in app design. I usually look at the artwork and then decide what kind of app I can create with it.
OpenClipArt.org is also good. You can download vector graphics for free, modify as much as you want, and export to your favorite format (png, jpg).
Wow, nice find
