Does ICS ROOTED cause issues with google play app download & install?

I have a customer who is stuck on corona’s default download file screen when she attempts to launch my android game. So far other customers have had no issue downloading and installing the game, so wondering if, a device is ICS rooted, could that be an issue? The .obb file has completely downloaded on her device and matches the expansion file size I uploaded through google dev center.

No idea why she is shown the ‘ugly’ default download file screen if the file has already completely downloaded and I have confirmed that she did purchase the game through google play store.

Anyone have any ideas?

Corona SDK does not support rooted or jailbroken devices.  Too many hacks are there to interfere with the official stores and there is simply no way we can work with that.

Thanks for the quick reply Rob. I suppose if android rooting is similar to jailbreak on IOS then this is a valid enough reason to reply with to the customer.

Rooting is basically Jailbreaking, if not more hackish.
