Does Plugin X use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA)?

I’m using the Kidoz plugin for one of my games and I’m at the point in submitting it to Apple where they’re asking if it uses the Advertising Identifier (IDFA).

I have no clue. And that info’s not to be found on this site, Kidoz’s site, nor any other site that I can google.

It shouldn’t be this hard to find info that is *required* for a plugin to be used. :frowning:

Any clues where that kind of information is stored?

PS - I left the title of this thread generic because maybe other people can post about other ad plugins and we can have one place to find all those answers.

I agree this should be more transparent to developers using plugins.

But you can be pretty sure that all ad/analytics providers harvests the advertising id. The more precisely they can determine who the users are the more valuable their data is.

If your app is serving ads, there is a 99.9% chance it’s using the IDFA.

That’s what I figured, but I shouldn’t have to guess on something like that — I don’t know what those guys are doing under the hood. Plus, if you hit yes then there are other questions you need to answer. Kidoz should make those answers easier to find.

Thanks.
