Does WP8 api support socket yet?

Hi there,

Congratulations guys for release WP version! Now we can convert many game to WP platform!

We have online game that using socket to transfer data from client to server via tcp and udp. So does this api support yet or is there any way to achieve it?

Yes.  The Lua socket library is supported on WP8.  And if it helps you, we also support the network Lua library as well.
