Don't start Corona Simulator

Hello! I installed Corona Simulator 2017.3184. When I start, I get a message (see Figure 1). I updated all the drivers on my computer. But this does not help me. I have Windows 7 64-bit on my computer. What should I do to start Corona?

Thank you in advance.

What happens if you check the box that says to not show this dialog again?

Rob

@rob

that crash dialog wont pop up. The simulator would just open up

Hi @JoePringles. Are you having the same issue? I was asking the question to the original poster to make sure they are just not seeing a sticky dialog box and Corona is actually working.

Rob

Well I don’t think I have the same probem as him but my simulator sometimes crash and tell me to update my drive.

But my computer is like windows 10 and pretty new (2016) so not sure.

I am using a build from back in May.

But my simulator works most of the time. It just crashes sometimes.

That message is just offering suggestions as to why you might have crashed, but if your drivers needed updated, you likely couldn’t run Corona at all.  More random crashes are likely some other issue and it would be nice to know if particular actions cause the crash.

Rob

hmmm… well in the console when it crashes it says:

The stdin connection has closed.

But thats all i know.
