I am using expansion file in my application .
when i clear the data from the device settings and switch off the wi-fi ,
then again relaunch the application its throughs Download error popup with Error in connecting server.
Has anyone come across this problem, please help me.
First time my applications downloads expansion file and works fine .
This issue is observed only when clearing the data and wi fi off before the launch of application

I’m not an expert on expansion files, but I imagine it’s trying to re-download the expansion file, and since you’ve turned off the wi-fi, it can’t download it and it shows the alert to you.

But the expansion file is already downloaded at the first download and it also shows the total app size in setting option of the device under app settings. i am just clearing the data app data, so why it will download it again ?

What do you mean by “clearing the app data”? What data in specific, and how are you clearing it?

In android device go to setting - > Apps - > Application -> the clear cache and clear data, force stop.
then relaunch the application it will through the Error popup Error Contacting server.
