Download my first app please

I’ve made my first app and I want the corona FAMILY to try it out. I been coding for about  a month and a half now. Still got more coding experiences to learn from.

please if you don’t mine to download and give it a rating. (If you one the people that might give it a low star like 1 or 2 star please contact me or reply and tell me the things you not satisfied with or it would be better if it would have this or that. Like a idea or something. Thanks.

How do you clear a misspelled word? It seems that once you mess up, you’re kinda stuck.  Other than that, it looked pretty fun.

Rob

Tap the “cancel” button every time its shows up “not a word”

I have a question. Since I’m kinda new to putting apps on the android play app store. Can you give me advice’s or how to gain more users/downloads

I don’t remember seeing a cancel button.  I’ll go back and look for it.

I’m also probably the worst person to answer how to get downloads on Google Play.  It’s historically been my worst performing store.  You might be interested in a Facebook group of Corona developers who swap reviews.  You review their app, they review yours and getting a hand full of reviews can help jump start you some.  See:

The cancel button is in the game, on what device did you installed on?

Google Nexus 7.

it should be there, specially for tablet. uninstall it and re-download it (I did an update) link - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cobragames.wordfall

I found the problem.  Your graphics along the bottom are getting hidden by the device’s softbar.  On some devices, the bar does not hide.  You should be able to get the bar’s height and position your graphics accordingly.

Left you a review on the app’s page in the Play Store.

ingenuityminded,

I’m a big fan of word games so I had to check this one out.  I really like the concept but it feels like it could use a little more polish yet.  On my 8" Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 the top and bottom edges are clipped making it hard to see the score on top and buttons on the bottom (see attached screenshot).

It’d be nice to have some visual feed back on what letters I’d tapped.  A simple highlight using setFillColor would probably do the trick.  Do you have any sounds yet?  I couldn’t hear anything but I have a bad habit of muting my tablet and leaving it that way.  Here’s a  couple good resources for sound effects if you need them.

As one of the reviewers mentioned I ended up with a lot of Z’s and X’s and a distinct shortage of vowels.  Are you picking the letters from a uniform distribution or is it weighted to pick certain letters more often?

Holler when you post a new update and I’d be happy to check it out again!

Josh

Thank you !

I updated the app, version 1.6, update the app and everything should be re-adjusted to fit tablet screens.

Looks much better now, good luck!

If you don’t mine, can you submit a review?
