Download Progress with FTP

Hey guys,

So I just found out that Coroan finally supports a download progess with the network.request API.

This is great news, and will make apps much more dynamic for our users.

My question is the following.  I have found and am using some code called FTP-Helper that was created by Graham Ranson.  This has worked great for me, but now I would like to be able to use the new download progess feature together with this FTP-Helper code.

I have no idea where to start or if its possible.  Any thoughts or ideas on how I might make this work?

Perhaps there are other solutions that I don’t know about? I want to be able to download using FTP while being able to use the new download progress that has recently been added to Corona.

I am looking for the same solution as well. ftp helper works great for me but can’t show the progress of downloading or uploading file.

In the end it doesn’t seem possible as far as I can understand.
