Downloading multiple images at once?

Hi,

I’m going to be using network.download() or display.loadRemoteImage() to pull in a bunch of little thumbnail images from an online database. Is it possible to get all of these in one shot? Or do I have to do a whole bunch of simultaneous asynchronous calls?
