drawing tablet graphic design

I was wondering if anyone here uses any tablets for creating their mobile app graphics, as I’m looking to get a wacom tablet… just wanted to see if its worth it.

Hi @tj.reis,

Do you have an iPad? I create some mobile app graphics using “Procreate Paint and Sketch”, a $5 app available for iPad. It’s a simply amazing app with capabilities you’d expect to find in software costing hundreds of dollars.

Then, I pair that up with a basic “Elago Slim Stylus”, $12.99 on Amazon. It’s a well-made stylus, light and comfortable to draw with, and it comes with a replacement tip if you wear out the original (although I’ve used the original tip for months and it’s not even near to worn out).

So essentially, if you already have an iPad, you can get a full tablet drawing solution for under $20.

P.S. - I am not affiliated in any way with Procreate, but I credit brilliance when I see it. It’s probably my all-time favorite iPad app, and one that I go back to constantly, even just for casual hobby-related digital drawing/painting.

Hello Brent,

Just checked the site and wow, I can’t believe I didn’t notice that app before. I was already thinking about purchasing an iPad for graphics so I’ve been searching for an app that would be useful and now I’ve found it :D. So I will be on my way to buy it tomorrow, thanks for the info Brent!
