Dual License question

I know that if I purchase the iOS Corona license I can install and build on two machines. The same is true for the Android license. However, if I buy the combined iOS/Android license does that mean I can install and build on 4 machines?

I already have purchased the combined license, and have it on two machines, but need it on my laptop as well. The obvious response from people will be “why not just try it and see if it works”. However, I know from past experience that once you “log in” with a trial version you are stuck with it thinking you are now a licensed version. I had to uninstall and remove some registry keys to get the trial version back on my laptop. I’d rather not go through that again if someone at Corona could just answer whether or not the combined license allows 4 machines (2 Mac’s, 2 PC’s). Hey there,

No - all paid licenses allow TWO machines to be authorized at any one time, regardless of whether your are Indie or Pro.

The only way to use a third computer would be to authorize one of your other machines when done using it so you authorize the laptop.

Hope that clarifies.

I understand that, but isn’t the iOS/Android really TWO licenses since you can choose to just purchase one or the other?

Or how about this? I pay the extra $49 so that is was like purchasing the iOS and Android licenses separately? If they are separate licenses then I *should* get to install each on two machines for a potential max of 4 machines (2 for mac, 2 for Android). Hey Ken,

It counts as one license regardless of whether or not you are Indie or Pro.

Licensing isn’t my department but if you would like to use this form; http://developer.anscamobile.com/forms/support

You can drop them an email and someone will get back to you.

Ken

If you buy PRO is only one license 2 seats.

You can buy iOS Indie (2seats one license ) and Android Indie (2seats 1 license ).

But if you purchase two indie accounts, you can’t use the same username on both indies.

indie IOS username foo@foo.com and android indie username foo@foo.com will not work.

You will need to have a second username for one of the indie licenses.

Carlos, thanks for the explanation.

I guess I should have bought two Indie licenses (using two accounts). Not a big deal, at least I understand how it works now. [import]uid: 16734 topic_id: 18041 reply_id: 69203[/import]
