Hi,
I’m working on my first app with my business partner.
He’s coding - I’m designing.
Corona is working great so far - thanks for a great product.
Ideally - we want to develop apps for all android and iOS devices - It’s difficult I know, but once it is done well, we plan to reuse and share the templates.
We are designing using illustrator with full vector graphics and saving as .Png’s
We have also tried copying smart objects into various Psd files and exporting out as .Png’s
We are using the letterbox method to dynamically scale images and pull them in.
However - the problem is that certain images are still looking pixelated - and as a designer, this bugs me!
I’ve downloaded many apps on both my iOS and Android devices and others don’t seem to have those issues.
I’ve read a good few forum posts here and there, but nothing seems to solve the issue - my images are appearing similar to the post below.

I’m planning on setting up a bunch of Psd’s to export for Android - I’ve followed this article -
http://mobile.tutsplus.com/tutorials/mobile-design-tutorials/how-to-get-started-in-android-app-design/
But none of these things solve the problem.
If I can provide a set of Psd’s to solve this problem in the future for more newbies, can someone offer some sort of assistance on my issue?
I can attach the files and code if needed.
Thanks. [import]uid: 88956 topic_id: 20807 reply_id: 320807[/import]
