Dynamic polygons

Perhaps this is a feature request for Ansca, but I’d really like to know if/how devs are getting around the fact that once a polygon is created it can’t be modified.

For example, I’m wanting to create some wibbly blob shapes which deform slightly continuously, to give the effect of being made of a liquid. This, without careful use of images or vector memory, is going to be tricky without being able to modify the vector polygons.
