@Pace @Juf Jannie
Thank you for your suggestions. I will look at the other forum and may purchase the license but was afraid of doing so and then finding that I would not be able to do it myself. I’m still new to this. Jannie, the developer and I parted ways due to several issue but yes he essentially gave me the source code and an iOS build an APK. The iOS was an adHoc and the APK was signed as a debug so they were not uploadable.
@SegaBoy
Thank you for your parting comments…I often shy away from forums for that specific reason. A simple request (in this case a paid job) is met with a great deal of hostility. But I do appreciate your reply and to answer your question I am new to outsourcing/app development in general. After some negotiation I needed to end the relationship so I could move forward. We agreed on a final amount for him to get the app up and running and I thought he was giving me workable builds. Live and learn. I also totally understand your idea of Corona Labs losing out on licenses but how many people would actually go through the hassle of becoming adept developers and then always have to rely on someone else to compile for them…would be more cost effective to buy the license. I personally was looking to spend almost half the cost of the license just to get a workable build. Will look into the license but am a little intimidated [import]uid: 45596 topic_id: 36400 reply_id: 144689[/import]
