I have eclipse with installed lua component (http://luaeclipse.luaforge.net/update-site/site.xml). This component highlights the lua code, but it doesn’t have code hints… Can you recommend some componets that support code hints (and Corona SDK api methods)? Hi!
I am new but I did start using the CPM (Corona Project Manager) that has a built-in Lua code editor and honestly I am liking that so much! There are the features youre looking for I believe as the CPM is a great tool that keeps your Corona Projects well organized and very accessible by one unique place.
PS: I am not promoting anything as I do not sell the software and have any link with the owner of it. BTW I did buy a copy of that software and have bought also the very popular Code Editor called BBedit, and to resume the story, I can tell you that I`ve forgot the popular code editor and just be coding with the CPM.
Just my own opinion.
PS: have a look at CPM and judge by yourself if that fit your needs. :]

I use notepad++. Its pretty nice actually, though it doesn’t have code completion. It suggests a list of used variables and keywords though!

TextMate is pretty awesome, there’s a CoronaSDK bundle that goes with it, plus you can fairly easily add your own snippets
