edge of screen swipe (top and bottom)

Greetings,

I have a question about swiping near edge of screen , bottom and top.  I’m not sure if it’s a corona setting, or a setting within iOS…

So iOS has those windows that come up , or down (sorry don’t know the term) when you swipe up at bottom of screen… or when you swipe down from the top edge of screen.

Is there a way to turn these off when you are in an App- I’m designing a game where user may swipe up near bottom of screen or vice versa… which triggers that iOS system window and interrupt the game.

I don’t know of any way to disable those. And for users who use them, I’m not sure they would be happy if you disabled them.

Rob

Thanks Rob- hoping it maybe buried in settings somewhere within iOS so be a user preference. Guess I’ll just redesign some things

Hi @henson802,

I’ve never heard of any way to disable those. It’s part of iOS, like it or not.
