i am seeing the corona API and some catapult exemples on the corona sample code, because i am creating some like that:

i need to create a great elastic effect, and need to create a algorithm to, when my object passing through the elastic, coming from below it passes through the elastic without touching it, but whenever he is coming from above and passes through the elastic, the elastic pick up the object, as shown in the video that i indicated.
i am learning the catapult exemple but it is a little confused, if anyone know some apis or little things that can help me i will be thankful.
