Email not sending for coronium:requestPassword

Hey guys,

I’m just setting up the requestPassword function and I’m wondering how this exactly works?
I call coronium:requestPassword( email ), I thought I get an email now where I can reset the password, but my mailbox doesn’t receive anything.
I also looked in spam.

Please help me

Thank you

Dima

Hi,

A couple questions, are you using SSL? Not required, but makes a difference on the set-up.

Do you have your email settings setup properly in the settings area?

Can you send an email to an “address” (outside of Coronium) from a different email address successfully?

Let me know.

Cheers.

Hi,

I’m not using SSL.

The email settings are also fine I think.
The “From Hostname” field in the email settings area should be an url to my website, right?

Sorry, how exactly do you mean that with (outside of Coronium)?
I have now tried to send an email via:

coronium.network.email( html\_body, options )

like in your tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8Pf-Ky1-jU

It tells me: result: Email Sent, but I don’t receive anything.

Sorry for beeing so dumb on this thing xD

Thank you

It may be in spam

Unfortunately not :frowning:

Im havin the exact same issue
