If you set emboss=true on a button widget, and then transition the buttons alpha in or out, the embossed text doesn’t fade properly.
I’ve filed a bug on the system with a simple test case here:

It would be great if this could be fixed. The embossed text looks better then the normal one, but isn’t usable for me due to this issue.
by the way, the same happens if you use display.newEmbossedText()
That was a feature request that you filed. This sounds like a bug. Please use the “Report a bug” link at the top of the page to get this into the bug report queue.

OK, I just filed it as a bug report. Didn’t get any reference to it on submit, I hope it went through OK
You should have gotten an email. I didn’t get any notification, and I don’t see it in the support system. Try emailing support@coronalabs.com, attach the project, and write in the email as good of a description of the problem as you can.
