Hi all,

I need to more emitter effects.Such as rain, more smokes , snow, fire and … More

Would anyone be able to download these effects? I can not make this effects, please help me.

Are you using Corona’s built-in particle engine? Are you using Particle Designer by 71Squared?

I use the free version of corona.I am are a newcomer.I need more emitters effects.Especially thunderstorms, clouds, rain, snow, smokes and fires. I do not have the knowledge to build these effects but I very much need these effects. Please tell me how to download these effects?

Well, you may search around the internet and find some website/community which offers free emitter effects for Particle Designer. These would be in a JSON-formatted structure which is compatible with Particle Designer, a tool which can create effects for Corona’s particle system.

Particle Designer itself is a paid product for Mac OS X (not Windows), but you don’t need it to use Corona’s particle engine or design effects. It simply makes the process a lot easier and more interactive.

Now, if you simply want to use pre-made effects, you can start by looking at our particle effects sample project which is located inside your local Corona application folder:

CoronaSDK > SampleCode > Graphics-Premium > EmitterViewer

However, at some point, you will probably need to learn how to modify existing effects to work as you want them to. Fortunately, this process is really fun (at least I think so :)), especially if you use a tool like Particle Designer.
