Emoticons in display.newText

Hi,

if I need to take an emoticons in a newTex, but it show in black and white. I know I can use a WebView but this can’t work for my application. There is another solution?

Corona SDK uses the device’s native font rendering  and will only render glyphs in the font and only in monochome.  If you want graphical emotes, you would have to include the images yourself.
