Hi everyone :slight_smile:

I know it’s been a while but i finally got around to updating my other templates to work with storyboard! After that i had an urge to create a new one template, so here it is! :smiley:

The template will provide you with all the basics you need to make a great Endless Runner game for iOS and Android. This is a simpler template than the others, but still great for getting your head around a few of the challengers of making such a game. Features include:

  • Never ending level (randomised sections)
  • Simple Parallax scrolling
  • Distance/Scoring system
  • Sprite animation
  • Jumping character to reach the platforms (1-way platforms)
  • Collectible stars
  • Vines that kill the player
  • DIRECTOR and STORYBOARD examples for screen transitions.

I tried to comment all of the important parts of the code to make sure that people can understand whats going on and allow them to edit it more easily. As well as the source code you get most of the PSD files used, the images and sound files.

Hi Pixin,

This is our first endless runner template, but if you got one of our others thanks! :slight_smile:

You don’t actually log into our website using paypal, all you do is enter your name and email for our records and then you are directed to the paypal website for payment. Alternatively we don’t mind people transferring the money directly to us and then we email them the files.

I’ve now updated the text on the checkout page to make the process clearer, i also added a quick line about the payment being processed securely through Paypal to try and ease anyones worries!

Since I’m a Super Noob, I’d like to know how I can make this into a Subway Surfer style endless runner? With the character running into the screen instead of to the left?

Is it some complex coding involved or is it farily simple?

When you say running into the screen, does that mean you want it to be a “fake” 3D style game? If so, a lot (if not all) of the template would have to be re-written for that and therefore this template probably isn’t what you are after.

I was actually thinking of making a fake 3D template like that, so i may actually start on one of them soon! Sorry i couldn’t of been more help, but i will post back here when i have a template like that available!
