Error - UNSUPPORTED iOS SDK Mismatch (9.2)

Hello everyone,

I have just started using Kwik Plugin and I am new to using Corona as well.

Whenever I try to test the app on my device I get the following error:

I am using a MAC with El Capitan, X-Code 7.2.1, SDK iOS 9.2.

What version should I use? Is it better to do a rollback and if so to what version?

Thank you for your patience with a newbie.

What version of Corona SDK are you using?

You probably should get the latest daily build.

Rob

I have this problem too . I have 2824 build and xcode 7.2.1 ???

Can you post a screen shot of your build screen just before you hit the build button?  Please do not obscure any fields.

I have the same issue - building for ipad

Corona SDK Version 2015.2731 (2015.10.5)

Mac osx: 10.11.3

iPad IOS: 9.2.1

I will add a screen shot as soon as I can see how …

I have this problem too. Rob, do you have any clue of what’s happening, you are our hope. I tried building with mismatch error and app doesn’t start at all.

I’m on 2824 build, is it solved with 2831? I haven’t found anything relating this error on the release notes.

This is not a bug. Apple, about 6-8 months ago made a change that requires the version of Xcode you are using match the target SDK that you are building against.

We have to keep Corona SDK up to date, so as Apple releases new SDK’s we have to update Corona to use them.  Here’s the deal.

If you have Xcode 7.2 you must build with a version of Corona SDK where we are using iOS 9.2 SDK. The current build supports iOS 9.2 and iOS 9.3 beta. I only have Xcode 7.2 installed, so I can’t build with the iOS 9.3 beta SDK.

If you’re building with 2731, the previous public build, it supported iOS 9.0. Therefore you have to have Xcode 7.0 if you want to build.  So you’re choice is either a) you can download a 4GB version of Xcode 7.0 and manage multiple versions of Xcode on your computer or b) you can update to the latest public build which is much smaller and faster to update.

You should watch daily builds going forward and wait until we announce iOS 9.3 support in the daily build release notes before you update to Xcode 7.3. We of course won’t update until 9.3 goes out of beta.

Rob,

After updating to Daily Build 2832 i’m not able to build for IOS. Always get Authorizing timed out error. I de-authorized and authorized again in preferences but it’s doesn’t work at all…

I can build for Android on my Windows computer. Do you have any clue about what’s happening?

Thanks

Can you drop back to 2830?

Rob

I did, and still same error… what an awful situation… and i have no idea what it’s happening :frowning:

What happens if you drop back to 2824?

I experienced the same problem with ElCap, v10.11.4 (15E65).

But now it’s ok with version 2016. 2846 (2016.3.23).

Still 9.3 beta, but all fine.

Thank you guys.

I’ve the same problem with build 2016.2846 (2016.3.23)

I’ve just update Xcode to Version 7.3 (7D175)

The build for iOS SDK is found only 9.3 beta so I can not

build the app to submit to store, please help or update.

Many Thanks

You’ll have to re-install Xcode 7.2.x for now
