Error with provisioning profile: "Valid signing identity not found"

I’ve created Development provisioning profiles and been able to do builds successfully with these.

I’ve now created Distribution profiles, of both types (AdHoc and AppStore) but cannot build with these. When I select the “Code Signing Identity” in the Corona build window, it shows these profiles but there’re grayed out saying “Certificate not installed”. Does anyone know what the problem is and what I should do?

If it makes any difference, the s/w versions I’m [import]uid: 29384 topic_id: 8296 reply_id: 308296[/import]

Sorry I pressed the “save” button too early and can’t edit/delete my original post. I wanted to add:

For both the Development and Distribution profiles, I’ve downloaded the various certificates/profiles to my Mac in the same way.

Within Xcode (latest version 4), if I look at the provisioning profiles for my device (i.e. not in the Library), the Development profiles are ok but the AdHoc Distribution profile has the error message “Valid signing identity not found”. I don’t see the AppStore profile at all but maybe this is how it should be since that profile isn’t tied to my device?

I’ve tried deleting and redownloading certificates & profiles, rebooting everything, etc. without success. Any advice / suggestions would be most welcome! [import]uid: 29384 topic_id: 8296 reply_id: 29572[/import]

I eventually solved the problem by following the instructions on another post: http://developer.anscamobile.com/forum/2011/03/13/build-app-store#comment-29896
