Anybody know how I can solve this error?

Error 1 The type or namespace name ‘ApplicationSettingsBase’ does not exist in the namespace ‘System.Configuration’ (are you missing an assembly reference?)

I think this occured to me several times, and I ended up in re creating the project until I came up with the solution of deleting the file build.settings. Try it.
