HI - how can i catch the tap & hide events from the Ads?

You can’t.  This is a requirement of the advertisers.  If you touch their ad, they get the touch.  To make this work, we don’t get a display object from the ad vendor.  Since it’s not a display object, all Corona can do is show it, position it within the ad’s rules and then hide it.  All other interactivity in that rectangle belongs to the ad vendor.
