Facebook - free and paid versions posting to wall

Hi all…

Does anyone know if it is possible to have a free version and a paid version of an iOS app post to the user’s wall? I can do this with Android, but not sure how to do with iOs app.

I don’t really want to create 2 facebook app IDs for the free and paid version. Reading the facebook documentation, it appears possible to do this, but not sure how to implement this with Corona. [import]uid: 114363 topic_id: 30587 reply_id: 330587[/import]

I believe if you set the same FB app ID in the build.settings file it should work; I’m not certain but I believe this worked with 840… Though perhaps you’ve already tried this without luck? Let me know, I might get a chance to test it this weekend. (Planned to do some FB stuff then anyway.) [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 30587 reply_id: 122555[/import]

Hi Peach…

I haven’t tried it yet, but I guess I will give it a shot tomorrow. Looking at the FB config screen, I need to enter the unique app package name (com.something.app for example) and the free and paid versions have obviously different names.

For android, there is no such entry so I can have the free, paid, nook, kindle app all post to the wall through the same interface.

If you or anyone beats me to it, let me know, otherwise I will spend some time tomorrow seeing what (if anything) works. I want to post high scores to FB since that is a great way to do a bit of free advertising.
