Facebook Icon on Android Build

Hello,

Found this out tonight trying to update Hairy Legs on the Android Market. I used the latest build, release date 2011.06.24. Everything seemed to work fine until I submitted it to Google. When the .apk was uploaded it showed the Facebook icon representing my game. It was the blue square with the little f in the center. I do not even have this icon on my computer, including web cache and temp files.

I was using a build from a few days ago and it worked fine when I built for debugging on the device, but when I tried to build for market with my key it would give me the server error. In checking with the forums, Carlos suggested another version and that this can happen sometimes with daily builds. So I tried the newest version and got this Facebook thing.

I went back to the build for date 2011.06.22 and it worked fine. Once it worked I tried again with the latest daily build and the icon was right back to the Facebook icon.

Just letting you know. Somewhere along the line the building process was putting the Facebook icon in. I even published and searched quick and sure enough the icon carried over to the Android Market. All is good now when I used version 2011.06.22. [import]uid: 8533 topic_id: 11652 reply_id: 311652[/import]

ha ha, they are integrating papaya’s social SDK, facebook icon is a small bug, can be remove easyly. http://papayamobile.com/developer/social

But output apk file’s size is a serious problem. If developer don’t need openfeint, papaya’s social sdk, then CORONA should remove them from output apk or ipa file. [import]uid: 9190 topic_id: 11652 reply_id: 42364[/import]

Yes.

Same thing happens to me with version 551 and 552.

Compiling with previous versions (544 for example), this does not happen.
