Facebook login support broken, or just new FB dev site changes needed?

**Twas the night before beta, and all through house,
facebook was working, so we had no big grouse!

My app was all happy, until yesterday,
facebook stopped working, we’re full of dismay!**

Seriously though, my app can’t post anymore to facebook… Nothings changed, except the date… It seems it stopped working around Oct. 15th… Are there new FB policies / requirements I need to deal with, or does corona need a change (or both)?

I see an “application namespace” thing that looks like it’s required on the FB dev site, and a new section where it looks like you need to define your apps actions (like post/feed" and get permission from FB to do it?

Anyone know if their FB stuff is still working, or has gotten it working again since the FB site/process changes?

have you tried putting some prints into your facebook call back routines to look for errors or error codes that might clue you in.

The app I’m working on makes heavy use of Facebook and it’s been working the whole time.

I’ve got 3 apps using FB.

My oldest app isn’t posting to FB, it used to, not sure when it quit.

I went to the “Advanced” Setting page in FBdev.

Under “migrations”, 1 of the apps that DO post to FB have options 1 & 7 disabled.
The other app that posts has options 1,5, & 7 disabled.

The app that doesn’t work had options 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, & 7 disabled.

I’ve enabled the options to match the apps that post and left options 1 & 7 disabled.

Waiting for changes to propagate through the servers to see if this makes a difference.

Thanks for the info xnail, my settings were like your old app settings and I changed them… I’m getting post ID’s back now, but not seeing anything on FB yet – waiting for the changes to propagate through their systems — I’ll post back if it works! update…

I still can’t post from my old app on Facebook even though I changed the settings in Facebook Developer to match my newer apps. Not sure what is going on.

Facebook seems to sign in like it used to, the Wall post is not made and when the FB login screen goes away, one of my new apps loads instead of the older app I posted from. Strange. I believe I’ve got all the proper FB ID’s in place.

Did anyone else get their FB posts to work correctly?
