Facebook posting and App set-up in Facebook developer portal

I have a question on Facebook score posting.

I went into the Facebook portal, and set up an app page.

I then plugged in the App ID from the FB dev portal for my app into the areas needed, and tested FB score posting which is working. (with a few minor issues like getting an error saying: your internet connection is not working) but the score still posts to my FB page in Sandbox testing.

My question is - in the Facebook dev portal, do I need to go through the submission process on Facebook and have the app approved by them? Or do I just click the YES button at the top to make it available to the general public?

If I go through the review submission form, Facebook is asking for an iOS app for the team to review - how do I give them a copy to review BEFORE the app is live? And, do I need to have the app approved by FB before I submit to iOS for approval in order for FB posting to work properly?

Sorry for the confusion, this is my first time using FB posting - and setting up an app on Facebook.

Any clarification is appreciated - I have done a search on here to no avail.

Thanks @Panc - do we know the verdict on submitting a .app file using build for Xcode simulator for FB iOS approval?

Actually, looks like I don’t need to submit a .app file unless I have certain permissions right? From what I’m reading on here anyway.

You don’t need to submit and get approval if you don’t need extended permissions.
