Facebook Sample App

I created a facebook app id and tried the sample app on my android device. unfortunately, clicking the LOGIN button I get the following error:

Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration: One of more of the given URLs is not allowed by the App’s settings. To use this URL you must add a valid native platform in your App’s settings.

What is it about?

Thanks,

Alex

Thanks Rob. I’ve read it before (and after). I can’t figure out where is the issue: build.settings? Main.lua? The message does not explain much…

We really need more context.

Where did you see this message? If it’s from a console log can you copy an paste the message from there including some of the log before it? If it’s from a screen a screen shot would be helpful.

Have you gotten everything setup correctly at https://developers.facebook.com?

Try google…

https://www.google.co.uk/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=given+url+is+not+allowed+by+the+application+configuration+one+or+more+of+the+given+urls

…the answer will be there somewhere!

Thanks Rob and Sphere Game Studios! it was indeed a FB configuration issue.

What steps exactly did you go through to solve this problem?
