Fast + Easy – Splash Screen Template - Photoshop needed -

Here is a little Christmas gift for you:

I’ve made up a splash screen template for photoshop that generates all splash screen sizes for Corona.

Just edit one layer, and all splash screen sizes updates and exports automatically.

You can find the free PSD File here:

Hope this is helpfull!

Best

Awesome idea! I have a few of questions though, does this work in cs6? Is there a script to export all layers built in or do we need to get one?

I think Assets is a feature introduced in Photoshop CC.

Nevertheless, if you are working on a Mac, you can also use a third party app like Slicy.

In fact I do prefer Slicy over the built in Assets feature since I had some problems with Assets and Slicy seems to be more reliabale.

On the other hand: the built in Assets feature does have more exporting features compared to Slicy.

Another idea: use layer comps. If you make a layer comp for each layer and then use the export each comp to file script (comes with Photoshop) this should also work. I haven’t prepared the PSD file for layer comps. But I can do this und upload a new file.

Layer comps should be usable in CS6 I think.

Sorry, just tested layer comps but it does not work. The Layer comps to files  script does always save the whole document size. Whereas Assets/Slicy does allow to export only parts of the document, which is necessary to get the correct dimensions for the splash screen files.

Yes. I tried the layer comps at first it and was a disaster! But I did get slicy and it works great! Thanks for the slicy recommendation!
