David and I are prepping our release for Cannon Cat. We wanted to get your critical feedback on our screenshots.

Ha, well I hope your game doesn’t have skyfish, flying penguins, an Evil Emu, robot cannons, portals and powerups too.

:slight_smile: But of course I’m worried. We’ve been working on Cannon Cat since before August of last year. I forget the start date cause we were prototyping stuff.

No it has robot cannons, portals, powerups and large avatar style floating islands but hey what good game doesnt these days? lol. :slight_smile:

@Beloudest: I hope you’re joking, but then again I wouldn’t be surprised if there are some similarities with all the games coming out these days.

The first time I saw floating islands was in Laputa which I’m sure Avatar was eventually inspired by. I’d like to think that our floating islands are unique in the sense that you’d immediately recognize them as Cannon Cat floating islands. :slight_smile:

@davemikesell We did all the art ourselves. David did 99+% of the art and animation. I helped with by constantly complaining when things sucked (e.g. clouds) and gave art/creative direction. :slight_smile: I drew some small stuff here and there.
