Finding companies that want apps?

How do you find people that want you to build an app for them? [import]uid: 122076 topic_id: 22133 reply_id: 322133[/import]

The answer to your question is if you start a restaurant, where would you find people who want to eat?

The customers are out there, but you need to let them know that you are there and if they feel that you could do what they want… [import]uid: 3826 topic_id: 22133 reply_id: 87972[/import]

Yea I know what you mean but the thing is that there’s a lot of people that are like a company contacted me today about building an app but it’s their first app and stuff like I wish there was a website like uShip where you can bid on a price for an app and whoever gets the lowest bid wins [import]uid: 122076 topic_id: 22133 reply_id: 87974[/import]

you need to take a decision on that, I would choose the kind of clients that I would like to take on.

Something that I heard long back when I was handling enterprise IT functions, if you throw peanuts, you only attract monkeys.

If you do not have previous experience then this might be good for you to gain some experience (not money). [import]uid: 3826 topic_id: 22133 reply_id: 87976[/import]

Look at what I did? A company contacted me and said they wanted an app, then check out what I made:

This is just an example of what is possible with Corona. You may want to search the internet for popular sites, then see if they have a mobile version. If not, then you may want to shoot them an email and propose an idea (just make sure you know how to do it before taking it on). It never hurts to ask
