First steps needed to iOS development??

Hi,

I have read the sticky posts above but still have a question for creating iOS apps. I have created test apps on Android which is easy. But I need the first few steps. I read somewhere about having to pay for a developer account at Apple for $99? Do I need to do this?

I plan to use MacInCloud.com for Corona SDK since I do not have a mac right now. So I’m hoping everything I need is on there. I emailed them asking if Lion was installed for the OS version because I think I read where Peach said you need Lion to create apps for the iPhone 5. Is this right?

I have an iPad 3 32gb with wifi, case and a blue tooth keyboard that I bought brand new in the box of craigslist for $350. I think that was a great deal!

Thanks,

Warren

I’m sure Macincloud would be running Lion or Mountain Lion though yes it pays to double check these things. You do need Lion or above in order to use the latest version of Xcode+Corona and build to support iOS6 - which of course means iPhone 5 and iPad Mini.

You do need an Apple dev license for on device testing on iOS, yes. There is no way around this. [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 33034 reply_id: 131173[/import]
